When in Manila teams up with the biggest art show of the year! Find out about all the awesomeness that shall happen a week from now!
In the modern realm of arts and design, Manila has an abundance of creative young individuals. To bask in this glory, more than 70 local artists merge skillful forces to showcase their masterpieces on this year’s most anticipated art event, the Bloom Arts Festival!
On September 29, rain or shine, all roads will lead to Cubao X, the haven and home of Manila’s art and design. Bloom Arts will feature illustration, painting, and photography by artists like JP Cuison, Zeus Bascon, Tokwa Penaflorida, Soleil Ignacio, Apol Sta. Maria, Ge Mapa, Rob Cham, Carina Santos, Gabby Cantero, Shaira Luna, Dan Matutina, Everywhere We Shoot, IdKids, and Your Evil Twin, to name a few.
But wait, there’s a whole lot more! Aside from artists, designers, and photographers, there will also be motion video presentations by Johann Tanhueco, Flux Design Labs, Acid House Post, and many more. Of course, there will be live music so you get to see performances by local artists like Twin Lobster, SINYMA, Similar Objects, Gentle Universe, Earthmover, Diego Mapa, and Chie Castaneda. You will also get to enjoy stuff from Plastic Octopus, Moonleaf Tea Shop, Bookay-Ukay, and many others.
Another cool thing about this event is that it’s totally for free! Without needing to spare any bucks at the entrance, you get to see amazing works by the country’s top-notch artists, you get to watch free gigs and score goodies, and best of all, you get to appreciate the local art scene with your friends. Don’t think twice, then. When in Manila, delve into its creative world. And for the love of art, let us all go!
